1. Throw out existing preferences (PolyVision settings)
The settings for your board are found in a file on your hard drive:
Hard drive/Library/Preferences/PolyVision driver In other words….
- Quit your PolyVision app – the PolyVision icon in located at the top right of your screen. Click on the icon and drag down to Quit.
- Open your hard drive. In the main directory listing of your hard drive, down from the Applications menu, is found a file called Library. Double click to open the Library folder.
- In the Library folder, scroll down to Preferences, and double-click to open the Preferences folder.
- Toward the bottom of the Preferences folder is a folder named PolyVision driver. Double-click to open this folder.
- Inside the PolyVision driver folder is a file ending with ‘.plist’ It is first in the list. (Shown.) Drag this file to the Trash.
2. Configuring PolyVision setup
- Click on the same button that you clicked to Quit your PolyVision board, and drag to the first choice --> Configure your PolyVision board.
- In the left column of the Configure window, click on the word Projection.
- When the projection window opens, make sure the top popup (right corner) says Better, (or Good,) and then under that, the second choice (remember settings) says Disabled. You are now ready for the final step, setting your corners.
3. Setting your corners
- On the black remote, click the button at the top labeled Projection. The screen should turn green, with a circled + in the upper left corner.
- Press your cursor, or your finger in the middle of the +, and then another + will appear in the top middle of the screen. Again, press the middle of the +, and follow this process wherever the + appears.
- When you have finished the final +, your computer screen will again appear, and hopefully, your board will be working again.
